Just a Wish

Sometimes I wish the starry night could never fade away
Or that the twinkle in G*d's eye would always light the way
But when I envision my future all things will have gone amiss
And I'll never ever forgive myself for wishing just a wish
I wish that I was brave enough to admit that I was fine
Or lead and beg to the heavens and ask to turn back time
I'd rather spend my time with friends and pick on whom to dish
Instead of thinking to myself why I wished such a wish.
